Speaking Event: N. Taiwo was the keynote speaker at the 2008 University of Toledo – Center for Family Business Advisory Board banquet dinner. The annual event, which honors key advisory board members, draws a large audience that consists primarily of greater Toledo (and beyond) family business owners and executives, University of Toledo business school officials, Corporate Sponsors, and other affiliate groups. The Center for Family Business is a non-profit organization founded and operated by the University of Toledo Business School. Mr. Taiwo’s keynote speech focused on the importance of and the relationship between Leadership and Respect.

November 5, 2008
Speaking Event: N. Taiwo gave a speaking presentation to a Business Advisory Board of the Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing – a popular special needs school founded in 1869 and a part of the Boston public school system. The advisory board meets four times a year and promotes business input, business leadership, and support for the special needs educational institution.

October 11, 2008
Speaking Event: N. Taiwo gave a speaking presentation at the annual Blacks in Government (BIG) regional training conference in Massachusetts. Mr. Taiwo was one of several distinguished speakers at the event which was focused on leadership development and personal excellence. BIG is a national non-profit organization established with a mission to foster and support leadership development for African Americans employed in the public sector.

Speaking Event: N. Taiwo made a presentation to a team of Connecticut-based managers from Comcast, a leading cable telecomm services company. Mr. Taiwo’s presentation focused on the increasingly popular topic of respect in the workplace.

Speaking Event: N. Taiwo made a presentation to members of the New Haven, Connecticut chapter of Jack and Jill of America. Jack and Jill of America, a long-established and leading national non-profit organization of primarily African American parents across America, promotes and supports a variety of values-based character and educational development & mentoring programs for youth and young adults. Mr. Taiwo’s presentation focused on the value of respect, the topic of his new book.

Speaking Event: N. Taiwo delivered a keynote speech at the Jack and Jill of America – Eastern Regional Conference held in Boston (Massachusetts). Jack and Jill of America, a long-established and leading national non-profit organization of parents, hosts annual regional conferences (across the U.S.) that recognize the achievements of youth and young adults involved in a variety of values-based character and educational development & mentoring programs. Mr. Taiwo’s keynote focused on the topic of the value of respect, the topic of his new book.

Speaking Event: N. Taiwo gave a speaking presentation at the State of New Jersey Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) officers meeting held in Trenton (New Jersey). Mr. Taiwo’s presentation focused on the topic of respect in the workplace, with an emphasis on the balanced role of both employees and employers in cultivating a workplace culture of respect under varying conditions.

Speaking Event: N. Taiwo gave the second of two speaking presentations to the New England chapter members of Women In Cable Telecommunications (WICT) – a national organization that develops and supports professional women leaders in the cable telecommunications industry. The event was held at ESPN offices in Bristol, Connecticut. The theme of the presentation matched that of the prior day’s event held in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Speaking Event: N. Taiwo gave the first of two speaking presentations to the New England chapter members of Women In Cable Telecommunications (WICT) – a national organization that develops and supports professional women leaders in the cable telecommunications industry. The event was held at Comcast offices in Manchester, New Hampshire. The theme of the presentation focused on the importance of a workplace culture of respect as well as the value of a well balanced personal and career lifestyle.

Book Fair: N. Taiwo was a guest (and speaker) of Boston City Councilor Charles C. Yancey at the 22nd annual Charles C. Yancey Book Fair held in Dorchester Massachusetts. The annual event attracted over 1,000 children, youth, and their parents
